Solar quote questions
Is the solar quote review really free?
Yes. There is no cost and no obligation. Upload your quote and you get an honest, plain-English read on whether it is a fair deal.
What should I upload?
The full proposal PDF is best. Photos of the pages showing the price, system size, equipment, and financing or contract terms work too.
How do I know if my solar quote is fair?
Look at the price per watt, whether the system matches your actual usage, the equipment and warranty terms, and how incentives are counted. A quote can look fine on the monthly payment and still be overpriced once you check those four things.
Is the federal solar tax credit still available in 2026?
Not for homeowners who buy their system. The 30% federal residential credit ended on December 31, 2025. New York’s 25% state solar credit, capped at $5,000, still applies. If a 2026 quote for a purchased system still counts the 30% federal credit, treat that as a red flag.
Who reviews my quote?
A working Westchester solar specialist who designs systems for local homeowners. If your quote is a good deal, we will tell you. If we think you can do better, we will explain why, and it is your call whether you want an alternative quote.
Will you share my quote or contact info?
No. Your quote is used only to review it for you, and your information is never sold or shared.
